Investment Criteria

The Ashley Companies targets value-add or distressed apartment communities in supply constrained markets. Ashley focuses on assets priced far below replacement cost that have potential for rental gains from (1) operational efficiencies through improved property management and (2) extensive capital improvements to both the interior and exterior of the units. The typical hold period for any multifamily investment is seven to ten years. The Ashley Companies will consider single assets, portfolios, distressed properties, REO's, receivership sales, short sales and non-stabilized lease-up opportunities.
